In the bathroom, the dimensions are given in advance: pipes, drain, niche, window, shower door. The standard cabinet avoids these dimensions and leaves unused centimeters on each side. Custom-made furniture uses them — the cabinet goes exactly under the sink, the tall cabinet exactly in the niche, the mirror across the entire width of the wall.
What We Make
Vanity cabinets with a cutout for the drain, either wall-mounted or freestanding. Tall cabinets for towels and cleaning supplies, often installed in a niche next to the shower stall. Mirrors with LED lighting around the edge or behind the mirror, optionally with anti-fog heating. Shelves, wall paneling, and cover panels for pipes and water meters, which remain accessible through inspection doors.
We customize the cabinet to fit the sink you choose. We’ll help you choose, since some sinks are much easier to pair with drawers than others—with a countertop sink, you get a full drawer, whereas with a built-in sink, the drainpipe cuts across it.
Moisture-Resistant Materials
In the bathroom, the choice of materials is more important than anywhere else. We use water-resistant panels and edges protected with ABS tape around the entire perimeter, even in areas that are not visible. We apply additional protection to the bottom edges of the cabinets, where water tends to collect.
There is no such thing as completely waterproof wooden furniture—which is why we design it so that it does not come into direct contact with water: never place a cabinet right next to a shower stall without a partition, keep the bottom edge raised off the floor, and ensure ventilation behind the cabinet.
Coordination with the plumber and tile setter
We measure the furniture after the ceramic has been laid, not before — the ceramic changes the dimensions by a centimeter or two, which is decisive when installing it in a niche. Coordinate the water and drain connections with the plumber so that they end up inside the cabinet and not behind the drawer.
Delivery Time and Warranty
It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks from measurement to installation; installation takes one day. Warranty: 5 years on workmanship and installation, 2 years on materials; Blum hardware comes with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
We manufacture our products in our own workshop in Ig near Ljubljana and install them with our own team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you also provide a sink and a faucet?
We’ll customize the furniture to fit the sink you choose (we’re happy to help you choose one). A plumber will install the sink, faucet, and plumbing connections; we’ll coordinate the measurements with him.
Is the furniture really moisture-resistant?
Yes, we use waterproof panels and protected edges, which are essential for a bathroom. Of course, we design the layout to avoid direct contact with water (e.g., from the shower).
How long does it take?
From measurement to assembly 4-6 weeks; installation in one day - or by agreement.
What is the warranty?
5 years on manufacturing and installation, 2 years on materials (panels, fronts, countertops). Blum hardware (hinges, slides, lift mechanisms) is covered by the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty—for the lifespan of the furniture under normal household use.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or maintenance: moisture and standing water (e.g., leaks under the sink or dishwasher), impacts, scratches, and overloading of shelves or drawers, cleaning with harsh or abrasive agents, direct heat and steam (appliances without proper protection), modifications or alterations made by third parties, normal wear and tear, and the natural characteristics of wood (differences in color and grain, minor movement of the wood due to changes in humidity). The units come with the manufacturer’s own warranty. We will perform subsequent adjustments to doors and drawers by arrangement.
