Custom-Made Bedrooms and Beds
Every centimeter counts in the bedroom. The room is often smaller than the others, with sloping ceilings or an irregular shape, yet it must accommodate a bed, a two-door closet, nightstands, and often a work area as well. Custom-made furniture is the only way to ensure that everything fits where it should, while still keeping the space feeling calm.
Custom-Made Bed
We custom-build the bed to fit the mattress you already have or plan to purchase—140, 160, 180, 200 cm, or completely non-standard sizes. You can choose an upholstered headboard in fabric or leather, either the width of the bed or spanning the entire wall. We often build it together with nightstands and LED lighting, so you won’t even need bedside lamps.
We also manufacture floating beds—the base is set back and concealed, so that the bed appears to float above the floor. With indirect lighting beneath the mattress, the effect in a small bedroom is surprisingly striking.
If you need storage space, we can build a bed with a lift-up mechanism and storage space under the mattress—that's where you can store bedding, blankets, and seasonal clothing.
Floor-to-Ceiling Cabinets
In the bedroom, we almost always recommend floor-to-ceiling closets. The space above a standard closet is otherwise wasted and collects dust, but with ceiling-high doors, you gain an additional shelf that runs the entire length of the closet. The doors can be hinged or sliding—sliding doors make sense when there’s limited space in front of the closet.
In the attic, we build built-in cabinets under the sloping ceiling, tailored to the roof’s pitch. This is one of our most common designs, and it is precisely here that the difference between off-the-shelf and custom-made products is greatest.
Small Bedroom
If the bedroom is small, we recommend: cabinets in the same color as the walls so they blend in visually, sliding doors instead of hinged ones, a bed with built-in nightstands instead of separate pieces, and lighting in the headboard instead of lamps. This makes the space look bigger and keeps it looking tidy even when it’s not.
Delivery Time and Warranty
It usually takes 5 to 8 weeks from measurement to installation, and the bedroom installation takes one day. We offer a 5-year warranty on workmanship and installation, a 2-year warranty on materials, and a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty on Blum hardware.
We manufacture our products in our own workshop in Ig near Ljubljana; we install them throughout Slovenia.

What is the warranty?
5 years for production and assembly, 2 years for materials (panels, fronts, worktops). Blum fittings (hinges, guides, lifting mechanisms) are covered by the manufacturer's lifetime warranty - for the lifetime of the furniture in normal domestic use.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper use or maintenance: moisture and stagnant water (e.g. leakage under the sink or dishwasher), impacts, scratches and overloading of shelves or drawers, cleaning with aggressive or abrasive agents, direct heat and steam (appliances without adequate protection), interventions or processing by third parties, normal wear and tear and natural properties of wood (differences in color and structure, reduced wood performance due to changes in humidity). The devices have their own manufacturer's warranty. Subsequent door and drawer adjustments are made by agreement.
